The Head of Production at The Fellas Studios will lead and define the overall production strategy across all content and commercial output. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire production function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable content across multiple formats while aligning production with the studio’s creative and business objectives.
As a senior leader within the business, the Head of Production will own the development of production systems, team structure, and workflows, enabling the studio to scale efficiently without compromising on quality. You will play a key role in shaping the content slate, supporting commercial growth through branded content, and driving innovation across production capabilities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities- Define and lead the overall production strategy across all in-house podcasts, digital content, and branded projects.
- Oversee the end-to-end production lifecycle, ensuring consistent, high-quality output delivered on time and at scale.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing production team, including producers, content leads, editors, and designers.
- Establish clear team structures, workflows, and processes to optimise efficiency and scalability.
- Set and maintain production standards and quality benchmarks across all content.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the content slate and production roadmap, aligning output with business growth objectives.
- Lead the production of branded content and commercial partnerships, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact campaigns.
- Own and manage production budgets and resource allocation, ensuring cost efficiency and strong return on investment.
- Develop and implement systems for continuous improvement, leveraging new technologies, tools, and workflows.
- Oversee studio infrastructure and technical development, ensuring facilities remain industry-leading and future-proofed.
- Use performance data and audience insights to inform production decisions and optimise content formats at scale.
- Act as a senior point of contact for key partners, talent, and brands, representing production in high-level discussions.
- Foster a creative, collaborative, and high-performance culture within the production team.
- Proven experience in a senior production leadership role (e.g. Head of Production, Senior Production Manager, or equivalent) within a studio, media, or digital content environment.
- Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in digital video production, including podcasts, YouTube, and multi-platform content.
- Strong leadership and team-building experience, with a track record of scaling and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional organisational and operational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple productions simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience in building and optimising production workflows and systems at scale.
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience supporting or delivering branded content and partnerships.
- In-depth knowledge of current and emerging production technologies, tools, and trends in digital media.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at a senior level.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to use insights to inform production and content decisions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field preferred.
