The Role
We are looking for a dynamic Continuous Improvement Manager to lead impactful change across Fedcap UK. You will drive projects that boost customer experience, quality, and productivity, while embedding a culture where improvement is part of everyday work. Using LEAN principles and data-driven insights, you will work hands-on with frontline teams and leaders to streamline processes, solve problems, and deliver measurable results. Travel across regions is an essential part of the role.
Location: On-site, accepting applications from candidates within reasonable distance of any of our South-Central offices: Banbury, Basingstoke, Brighton, Chichester, Guildford, Oxford, Slough, Staines, High Wycombe & Reading
Travel: Regular UK travel required (expenses covered)
Salary: £52,839 to £58,710
What You Will Do
- Lead and champion continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Create and roll out CI strategies everyone can understand and use.
- Run LEAN workshops and problem-solving sessions that build skills and deliver real change.
- Cut out unnecessary steps and complexity to drive efficiency (3%+ gains each year).
- Use data and performance trends to spot risks, set priorities, and guide decisions.
- Own improvement projects end-to-end—from defining the issue to evidencing the impact.
- Build strong relationships across operations to make improvements stick.
- Coach and develop Continuous / Service Improvement Specialists.
- Work closely with Operations, Governance, Quality, Service Design, and Customer Experience teams.
- Represent the organisation in external CI networks and working groups.
What You Will Bring
- Strong knowledge of CI tools: Lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping.
- A recognised CI qualification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
- Experience delivering successful improvement projects.
- Ability to analyse issues, problem-solve, and improve productivity.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Strong leadership, integrity, and a strategic mindset.
- Understanding of how operational systems connect and impact performance.
- Confident use of MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
