As part of the DWP Restart Scheme, you’ll deliver tailored, one-to-one support to help long-term unemployed individuals overcome barriers and find sustainable work.
We’re looking for a people-focused, target-driven individual with emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt to, and influence, a wide range of customers. In this role, you\’ll wear many hats supporting, encouraging, signposting, advising, coaching, and inspiring individuals while building trust and challenging mindsets.
What You’ll Do
Work towards clear targets and KPIs (including quality & compliance SLAs) – with plenty of support along the way
Manage a caseload of customers, with face-to-face appointments throughout the day, creating SMART action plans and providing job-searching support
Help build confidence, develop skills and change mindsets
Collaborate with external services to tackle complex challenges and help overcome barriers
What You’ll Bring
A background in target-driven roles and/or experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
Ability to build rapport, understand, and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who are vulnerable with complex needs
Experience of working in customer-facing roles in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate customer records
Resilience and a growth mindset, and a real passion for making a difference
