The Farnley Academy is seeking to recruita dedicated and enthusiastic colleague to the role of Level 1 TeachingAssistant. This role is of significant importance to our academy and offers anexciting opportunity to support students in accessing learning, achieving theirpotential and thriving within a positive and inclusive environment.
Working under the direction of teachingstaff, the successful candidate will provide classroom support, promote pupils'learning and development, and contribute to their wellbeing, safety andinclusion. They will establish positive relationships with students, act as arole model and play a key role in supporting high standards of teaching andlearning across the academy.
Potential applicants should have:
- GCSEgrade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
- Experience of working with or caring for childrenof a relevant age.
- The ability to build positive relationships withstudents, colleagues and parents, supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing.
- Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, with theability to support learning across the curriculum.
- The ability to work effectively both independentlyand as part of a team.
- A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding andensuring that all students have the opportunity to achieve their fullpotential.
