Job Description:
Duties / Tasks:
- Repair electrical mining equipment and facilities.
- Assist with electrical inspections on mine equipment.
- Work with different voltage electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot motor control circuits, PLC, and digital drive control systems.
- Perform job duties in accordance with MSHA law and regulations, established company safety procedures, and state and federal environmental regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required Enrolled in accredited electrical program and in good academic standing.
- Completed a portion of college in the associated field of study intents on completing the degree.
- Applicants need to have a valid driver’s license
- Able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Able to work rotating shifts.

- Frequently (1/3 – 2/3 of workday): Walking, standing trunk rotation, standing, working arms overhead, lift floor to waist (65 lbs.), lift waist to eye (25 lbs.), bilateral carry (65 lbs.), unilateral carry (40 lbs.), and push and pull (100 lbs.).
- Continually (2/3-3/3 of workday): Lift floor to waist (65 lbs.), lift waist to eye (25 lbs.), bilateral carry (65 lbs.), unilateral carry (40 lbs.), and push and pull (100 lbs.).

NOTE: This position requires working rotating shifts. The role involves approximately 20% indoor work and 80% outdoor work. Employees must be able to work while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to steel-toe boots, safety glasses, a hard hat, face shield, and respirator. Must also successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and the applicable Job Function Test (JFT).
