Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of care to vulnerable patients.

Location: Highfield House - Purley

Your Role:

  • Assisting residents with their personal needs, ensuring optimal independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
  • Documenting care activities in a timely manner, reflecting care delivered and escalating concerns regarding a patient’s health and wellbeing to the nurse in charge at the earliest possible opportunity.
  • Being friendly, kind and compassionate towards patients, relatives, visitors, and colleagues, respecting the dignity and individuality of each patient.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards patients and other people in the home.
  • Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Starting as a Care Assistant, you can earn up to £13.50 per hour within the first 12 to 18 months and learn valuable specialized clinical skills through the FastTrack Care Assistant programme.
