We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Clinical Service Manager to lead and develop our services, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, compliance, and team performance.

Contract / Scope / Salary / Benefits

  • Contract: Permanent - Full-Time - 40hr per week (on-site)
  • Scope: Responsible for four nursing complex care wards of between 8 and 15 beds each
  • Salary: Competitive based on experience

The Clinical Services Manager (CSM) will support the Centre Director in ensuring outstanding care is delivered to patients in line with best practice and the Fairlie Healthcare Group's Core Values and Values Framework, ensuring patients are treated with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the MDT, ensuring needs of patients are met, providing nursing leadership to qualified staff, acting as a role model and encouraging service development.
  • Being aware of patient clinical dependencies and building effective partnership relationships with patients and their significant others.
  • Ensuring safe staffing, overseeing medicines management, and coordinating GSF and IPC processes.
  • Managing the Clinical Budget for the Centre, ensuring effective allocation of resources and stock management.
  • The CSM role is very hands-on, working directly with nurses, carers and therapists.

What do I need to be successful?

  • Full time onsite
  • Nursing management, critical care medicine, and patient care skills
  • Experience in nursing and acute medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Clinical Governance reporting and action plans linked to quality improvements
  • Safeguarding Lead, previous experience desirable
  • Preferred: previous experience in A&E, ITU, HDU, CCU, respiratory, or complex care settings
  • Ideally: experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care
