Starting as a Care Assistant, you can earn up to £13.50 per hour within the first 12 to 18 months and learn valuable specialised clinical skills in the process. Our FastTrack Care Assistant programme is now open to new applicants who demonstrate our Values, are motivated to learn how to deliver outstanding care.

Your Role

  • Assisting residents with all their personal needs, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
  • Ensure documentation is completed in a timely fashion, reflecting the care delivered and escalate concerns regarding a patients' health and wellbeing to the nurse in charge at the earliest possible opportunity.
  • Be friendly, kind and compassionate towards patients, relatives, visitors, and colleagues, respecting the dignity and individuality of each patient.

  • Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards patients and other people in the home.
  • Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
