Overview
This is a senior and highly impactful role responsible for leading safeguarding and behaviour standards across grassroots football in Lincolnshire.
Safeguarding & Behaviour Responsibilities
- Lead safeguarding delivery in line with FA Safeguarding 365 standards
- Manage safeguarding concerns, referrals, and case management processes
- Work closely with statutory agencies and safeguarding partners
- Deliver guidance, training, and support to clubs and welfare officers
- Monitor compliance and safeguarding activity across grassroots football
- Lead initiatives to improve behaviour and respect within the game
- Use data and insight to inform safeguarding and behaviour strategies
- Support embedding safeguarding and equality across all football activity
Commercial Responsibilities
- Support the growth and sustainability of the Lincolnshire FA through partnership development, sponsorship, and commercial activity
- Help generate new revenue opportunities, manage existing partnerships, and build strong relationships with local businesses and stakeholders
- Identify and develop new sponsorship and partnership opportunities
- Manage and service existing commercial partners
- Attend networking events and represent Lincolnshire FA
- Support creation of proposals, presentations, and sponsorship packages
- Maintain accurate CRM and partnership records
- Contribute to commercial income generation and growth
- Support delivery of partnership rights and activation
Qualifications
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience
- Confidence managing sensitive and complex cases
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to prioritise and work under pressure
