Overview

This is a senior and highly impactful role responsible for leading safeguarding and behaviour standards across grassroots football in Lincolnshire.

Safeguarding & Behaviour Responsibilities

  • Lead safeguarding delivery in line with FA Safeguarding 365 standards
  • Manage safeguarding concerns, referrals, and case management processes
  • Work closely with statutory agencies and safeguarding partners
  • Deliver guidance, training, and support to clubs and welfare officers
  • Monitor compliance and safeguarding activity across grassroots football
  • Lead initiatives to improve behaviour and respect within the game
  • Use data and insight to inform safeguarding and behaviour strategies
  • Support embedding safeguarding and equality across all football activity

Commercial Responsibilities

  • Support the growth and sustainability of the Lincolnshire FA through partnership development, sponsorship, and commercial activity
  • Help generate new revenue opportunities, manage existing partnerships, and build strong relationships with local businesses and stakeholders
  • Identify and develop new sponsorship and partnership opportunities
  • Manage and service existing commercial partners
  • Attend networking events and represent Lincolnshire FA
  • Support creation of proposals, presentations, and sponsorship packages
  • Maintain accurate CRM and partnership records
  • Contribute to commercial income generation and growth
  • Support delivery of partnership rights and activation

Qualifications

  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience
  • Confidence managing sensitive and complex cases
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to prioritise and work under pressure
