This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work remotely from the Berks & Bucks FA office (Milton Park, OX14 4SB), home and around the County.

Salary: Band 4 (£27,068 - £33,084) per annum, dependent on experience.

Hours: 35 hours per week. (Requirement to work evenings and weekends in line with the demands of the role.)

Contract: Full time - Fixed Term Contract (Expiring June 2028).

This role will focus on supporting and further developing grassroots clubs in the region to ensure they are providing accessible opportunities for all. Berks & Bucks FA know that football has the power to 'Connect People & Change Lives' and this is why they are looking to recruit a passionate and energetic individual to join the Development Team. The successful individual will lead engagement with clubs, supporting them to offer a wider variety of provisions, and ensuring they run sustainable operations. There will also be a focus on supporting and growing the volunteer workforce with the clubs. Their role is simple; to lead, protect and support an individual's journey in football by inspiring a lifelong relationship with the game.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead on the engagement and communication with clubs, ensuring that clubs feel connected and supported.
  • Aid with the recruitment and training of new and existing club volunteers.
  • Increase the number of players transitioning from Youth to Adult participation.
  • Strategically lead the growth of England Football Accredited Clubs & Leagues.
