The ExtraCare Charitable Trust are currently recruiting a Facilities Maintenance Assistant at their Hughenden Gardens Village location.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and technically skilled maintenance professional to join a friendly, dedicated team within a modern retirement village environment.
As a Facilities Maintenance Assistant , you will support the day-to-day maintenance and smooth operation of the village, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and general fault-finding across building services and facilities systems. The role includes a wide range of maintenance duties including basic plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting and decorating, health and safety inspections, and general building upkeep to ensure the village remains safe, compliant, and well maintained for residents, visitors, and staff.
Working as part of a supportive and customer-focused environment, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards throughout the village while supporting ExtraCare's mission of delivering “better lives for older people”.
This opportunity would suit a reliable, proactive, and hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in delivering excellent service and creating a safe and welcoming community for residents.

Role Details:
Role: Facilities Maintenance Assistant
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (occasional out-of-hour cover required)
Salary: £28,431 per annum
Location: Hughenden Gardens Village, HP13 5GD
