Do you have experience as a hands-on Chef? If so, come and join us! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef to join us at our Retirement Scheme, based in Coventry (Humber Court). You will provide a good quality dining experience for around 15 of our residents and in return will receive a competitive salary of £14.06 per hour plus an excellent benefits package which includes:

What will you do as our Chef?

  • Be responsible for providing homemade traditional meals
  • Offer residents an excellent choice of meals which provide good nutritional value
  • Assist with other kitchen duties and ensure HACCP is followed
  • Ensure the menus are prepared within budget
  • Be committed to providing the highest standards of hygiene at all times

Our ideal Chef will:

  • Have experience of working in a similar environment
  • Be qualified to QFC / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Have previous experience of budgeting
  • Possess high kitchen standards
  • Have a presence at front of house
