ExtraCare Charitable Trust are looking for a Peripatetic Wellbeing Advisor. We have an exciting opportunity for a Peripatetic Wellbeing Advisor to join our team based at our Head Office in Coventry. As a dual-function role, the post holder will support both the Student Support service across locations and provide relief cover for the Wellbeing Advisory Service in the Midlands and Southwest.

The role is split across two core functions:

  • Supporting students: Providing induction, drop-in opportunities and face-to-face support where required for our students.
  • Providing operational wellbeing support: Ensuring continuity of resident services.

In addition, the post holder will offer ad hoc support to student placements when working within services.

Key Duties:

  • Wellbeing Advisor Responsibilities: Provide relief cover for Wellbeing Advisor roles across designated locations. Ensure continuity of wellbeing services during staff absence or service need. Work collaboratively with location teams to support a positive move-in process for potential residents. Support wellbeing activities and resident engagement.
  • Student Placement Support: Provide informal support and guidance to students on placement when working within locations. Promote a positive learning environment and support student engagement in practice. Liaise with relevant teams where required to support placement experience. Visit students whilst on placement to offer support and guidance. Carry out initial online induction with students.

About you:

  • Relevant health/social care qualification.
  • Knowledge of ExtraCare's student services.
  • Experience of supporting students during placement.
  • Competent IT skills for documentation and communication.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners (e.g. Health care professionals/HEIs).
