We are looking for an experienced Head of Property and Environment to deliver strategic and operational leadership across our Property and Environment function. In this role, you will ensure all locations and our Head Office estate are managed safely, effectively, and in full compliance with relevant standards.

The role

  • Location: Head Office (Coventry) – Hybrid
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 per annum, plus a £6,456 car allowance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Asset Leadership: Direct and lead the effective management of ExtraCare's asset portfolio.
  • Operational Delivery: Oversee the delivery of planned, responsive, preventative, and cyclical maintenance services throughout the estate.
  • Compliance & Safety: Take full ownership of a robust building safety and compliance framework, ensuring all statutory, regulatory, and governance criteria are met to protect residents and colleagues.
  • Sustainability & Strategy: Head the creation and execution of the Charity's asset management and environmental sustainability strategies to secure long-term estate value and compliance.

What You Will Bring

This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role. To be successful, you will need:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Professional membership (or be working towards one) such as RICS, CIOB, or IWFM.
  • Substantial senior leadership experience across property, compliance, asset management, or building safety.
  • Strong working knowledge of current regulatory frameworks and legislation.
