Earlsdon Park Village, our stunning Retirement Village based in Coventry are looking to recruit Care and Support Workers to join the team. Are you a Care and Support Worker who is compassionate, patient, and personable and would like to develop your career with us? If so, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for naturally caring, compassionate and patient individuals to join us who are enthusiastic about delivering excellent, Person-Centred Care. The successful candidates will be able to use their own initiative and able to problem solve through quick thinking as situations arise. You will be able to clearly communicate with our service users both verbally and in writing as they themselves may struggle to communicate effectively.
The Role
- Hours: Part Time, 16-32 hours per week
- Shifts: Various Day Shifts Available Between 07:00: 19:00.
- Rate: £12.96 per hour
- Location: Earlsdon Park Retirement Village, Coventry, CV5 6JQ
As a Care and Support Worker, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:
- Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities.
- Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents.
- Encourage independence and self-belief.
- Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.
Person Specification
- Hold a care certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification.
- Personable, an effective communicator and a team player.
- Passionate about delivering a quality care service.
- Flexible with hours.
