Sunley Court is on the lookout for talented, enthusiastic and passionate Chef to join our team to work weekends. You will be based at our small and friendly Housing Scheme in Kettering (NN15 7RJ) ensuring our residents and guests have a quality dining experience.

The Restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious homemade traditional and nutritious foods, and you will play a vital role in the planning, preparation and cooking.
Role: Cook
Hours: 11 hours per week. This will be on a rota basis working Friday and Saturday one week then Saturday and Sunday the next week on a rolling basis. Working hours will be between 9.00am & 2.30pm working alternate weekends.
Rate: £13.31 per hour
Location: Sunley Court, Piper Hill Road, Kettering, NN15 7RJ
Closing Date: 27th June 2025
Main responsibilities:
- Be responsible for providing homemade traditional meals.
- Offer residents an excellent choice of meals which provide good nutritional value.
- Assist with other kitchen duties and ensure HACCP is followed.
- Ensure the menus are prepared within budget.
- Be committed to always provide the highest standards of hygiene.
Our Ideal Cook/Chef:
- Experience of working in a similar environment.
- Previous experience of budgeting.
- Possess high kitchen standards.
- Have a presence at front of house.
- Ability to inspire and support the catering team.
- Have empathy and understand our residents' needs and dietary requirements.
- Team player.
- Passionate and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
