Langford Budville Primary School, part of the Moorland Federation, is seeking an ambitious, reflective and compassionate teacher to join our team full‑time. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher with existing leadership experience, or someone ready to take the next step in their professional journey within educational leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Teach across different key stages within a small school setting, providing a varied and rewarding role.
  • Contribute to wider school improvement, curriculum development and leadership across the school and Federation.
  • Implement inclusive education and adaptive teaching approaches to meet a wide range of learning needs, including SEND.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued and able to participate.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Use assessment effectively to support pupil progress.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote a shared ethos of inclusion and high expectations.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong understanding of effective primary teaching practice.
  • Experience across primary age ranges, or the flexibility and enthusiasm to teach across key stages.
  • Experience of, or a strong interest in, leadership responsibilities within a school setting.
  • High expectations for all pupils and a commitment to helping every child achieve their potential.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
  • A reflective approach to teaching and a genuine enthusiasm for ongoing professional development.
  • A commitment to inclusive practice, supporting the needs of all learners including those with SEND.
