Job Summary:
We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Marketing & Communications Lead to lead and execute marketing strategies for our recruitment agency.
This is our first time hiring an internal marketing team and we are excited by the opportunity this presents both the business and also the person coming into the role.
The Marketing & Communications Lead will be responsible for driving brand awareness, lead generation, and client engagement through digital marketing, email marketing, content, social media, and traditional marketing efforts.
This role will also collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure our marketing campaigns effectively align with business objectives and attract top talent for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract potential clients and candidates.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, website content, case studies, client success stories, social media posts, and email campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
- Lead Generation and Nurturing: Use various marketing tactics, such as SEO, PPC, and social media, to generate high-quality leads. Implement lead nurturing strategies to ensure continued engagement.
- Social Media and Digital Marketing: Manage and optimise the company’s presence across social media platforms. Develop campaigns to increase followers, interactions, and website traffic.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials and campaigns, maintaining a strong, professional online and offline presence.
- Marketing Collateral: Develop marketing collateral that supports client acquisition and candidate engagement.
- Market Research & Analytics: Monitor trends in the recruitment and staffing industry, competitor activities, and customer needs. Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM, etc.) to track the performance of marketing efforts and optimise strategies accordingly.
- Client & Candidate Engagement: Collaborate with the recruitment team to develop campaigns targeted toward both clients and candidates, creating engagement strategies that promote our agency as a trusted recruitment partner.
- Event Planning & Promotion: Plan and execute recruitment-related events, webinars, and networking opportunities to boost brand recognition and foster relationships with potential clients and candidates.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- Proven experience in a marketing role. We are open to what type of industry candidates have worked in.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing).
- A love of sport
- Proven experience in content creation and managing marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
- Creative thinking, with a passion for staying on top of industry trends and innovations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
- Understanding of employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies.
- Experience with event planning and promotion.
