A leading professional sports club in the East Midlands is seeking a driven Partnership Sales Manager to help expand and enhance its portfolio of commercial partners.
With a passionate fan base, a growing national and international profile, and a commitment to delivering exceptional value for sponsors, the club is now looking to strengthen its commercial team with a sales-focused professional who can secure and retain high-value brand partnerships.
They’re looking for someone with a proven track record in partnership or sponsorship sales, the ability to create compelling propositions, and the drive to close deals that align with the club’s ambitions.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING //
- Proactively identifying, targeting, and engaging brands and agencies – locally, nationally, and internationally.
- Leading the full sales process from research and prospecting through to pitching, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Producing bespoke sales decks, proposals, and other materials that showcase the club’s unique assets and value.
- Using data and market insights to tailor approaches to specific brands.
- Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and reporting regularly to senior leadership.
- Supporting senior executives during pitches and presentations to potential partners.
- Working alongside the Head of Partnerships to deliver an ambitious partnership sales strategy
THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED //
- A strong track record in sales, ideally within sport, media, or sponsorship.
- Experience engaging with senior decision-makers and securing commercial partnerships.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to create and deliver high-quality, visually compelling sales materials.
- Self-motivated, commercially minded, and able to work at pace.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A passion for sport and the drive to contribute to a high-performing commercial team.
