The Impact You'll Make
As Head of Marketing, you will play a central role in the organisation's commercial transformation, leading its marketing strategy and delivery to grow audiences, deepen fan engagement and drive revenue.
The role combines strategic leadership with strong commercial instinct and operational discipline.
From long-term planning through to campaign delivery, you will ensure marketing activity aligns with wider business objectives, strengthens audience engagement and delivers measurable impact across key revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver an integrated marketing strategy aligned to commercial and brand objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, attendance and revenue.
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging and marketing communications across all channels.
- Drive audience growth through digital marketing, CRM, personalisation and data-led marketing initiatives.
- Help shape the Club's digital roadmap, including customer engagement platforms, website development and app evolution.
- Support revenue growth across ticketing, memberships, hospitality, retail, partnerships and non-sporting events through targeted marketing strategy and execution.
- Champion a fan-first culture across the Club, ensuring supporter insight informs planning and decision-making.
- Own and embed clear planning frameworks, campaign calendars and reporting processes across the department.
- Lead and develop the marketing team, creating a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to support delivery of key objectives.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role within sport, FMCG, entertainment, retail, hospitality or another consumer-facing sector.
- Strong track record of delivering integrated marketing strategies that drive audience growth and commercial performance.
- Experience across brand, digital marketing, CRM, campaign planning and performance marketing.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, engagement strategies and conversion optimisation.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes.
- Experience using data, insight and reporting to inform decision-making.
