This is a unique opportunity to lead their medical team and play a vital role in the health and fitness of their First Team players. The Impact You\’ll Make: In this role, you will: Lead the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of all First Team players, ensuring their optimal health and fitness. Develop and implement advanced rehabilitation programs tailored to individual player needs. Coordinate external diagnostic and specialist consultations, ensuring players receive the best possible care. Implement robust objective measurement processes to inform return-to-play decisions. Collaborate with the Head of Performance to create and deliver comprehensive performance testing protocols. Contribute to the development and delivery of injury risk reduction programs. Oversee and mentor other Physiotherapists/Therapists, maintaining consistent medical care across all age groups. Manage medical department equipment and consumables, ensuring efficient operations. Provide matchday emergency aid cover, working alongside the Club Doctor. Conduct pre-contractual medical assessments and provide risk stratification reports. Maintain accurate medical documentation and uphold professional standards. Provide regular squad availability updates to the First Team Head Coach and Director of Football. Your Skills and Experience: We are looking for someone with: A Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc). Minimum of 3 years\’ experience in professional sport. FA ATMMiF certification or equivalent. Proven experience in delivering high-performance rehabilitation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work well within a team, and individually.
