Sheet Metal Worker / TIG Welder required in Runcorn - £40-42,000 per annum. Our client is looking for a Sheet Metal Worker / TIG Welder to join their engineering team at their site in Runcorn.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal and mechanical components utilising a variety of tools and machinery
- Perform high quality TIG welding on stainless steel, duplex and other metals as required
- The role requires manual handling, standing for long periods, lifting and working with heavy materials, so candidates should be comfortable with physical tasks.
Qualifications
- Apprentice trained to a minimum of Level 3 in sheet metal fabrication / welding
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and TIG Welding
- Previous experience within a Manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy in all manufactured components
