Our client, a leading UK-wide organisation, is looking for an Electrician to join their installations team. Working independently and throughout the UK, the role includes the installation and maintenance of systems at customer sites predominately and may include other installation work for the company, including but not limited to the installation of network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Installations and maintenance of systems at customer sites
- Install and maintain data/network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a, etc.)
- Collaborate with clients to understand security needs and provide tailored solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities
- Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance and repairs
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of access control systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access control systems (hardware malfunctions and software errors)
- Provide training and support to clients on the use of access control systems
Qualifications
- Experience in installing and maintaining electrical installations systems
- Experience with data cabling
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Certified Electrician (JIB Gold card)
- Containment experience desired
- Data installation experience desired as most installations involve this
- Installation of various IT technologies is beneficial

Salary is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum dependant on experience, with opportunities for overtime. This is a permanent position with the client, not a subcontractor role, so you will be employed and provided with all associated benefits. Fully stocked van with fuel card (if required), travel/hotel expenses, holiday pay, company pension, and private healthcare plan.
