How to prepare for a job interview at The Exchange

Know the Role Inside Out

Before your interview, make sure you understand the responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative. Familiarise yourself with tasks like goods in and stock movement, picking and packing, and general warehouse duties. This will help you demonstrate your knowledge and show that you're ready to hit the ground running.

Show Off Your Experience

With 2+ years in a similar role, be prepared to discuss specific examples from your past jobs. Highlight your achievements, such as improving efficiency or handling stock takes. This will give the interviewer confidence in your abilities and how you can contribute to their team.

Be Ready for Practical Questions

Expect questions that assess your problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Think about scenarios you've faced in previous roles and how you handled them. This will showcase your practical experience and readiness for the fast-paced environment of a warehouse.

Transport and Availability

Since public transport links are not practical, be clear about your own transport situation during the interview. Also, emphasise your availability for Monday to Friday day shifts. This shows you're committed and ready to start immediately, which is a big plus for employers.
