Enhance Catering is supporting a valued client in recruiting a
Relief Chef Manager to support the catering operations at there primary schools in the Nottingham area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, hands‑on chef who enjoys leading a team, working with fresh ingredients, and delivering a high‑quality food service.
You will be an experienced Chef Manager, Cook Manager, Strong Head Chef, Sous Chef or ambitious CDP ready to step up, with excellent cooking and people-management skills.
You take pride in running a well‑organised, efficient kitchen and are confident producing high‑quality meals at volume.
- What You'll be doing
- Lead and manage small teams
- Catering for 100+ covers daily
- Prepare and deliver fresh, seasonal food to a consistently high standard
- Manage, motivate, and develop the catering team
- Ensure full compliance with all food safety, health & safety, and due diligence requirements
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with onsite stakeholders and clients
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
- Drive food quality, consistency, and presentation
- What Is On Offer
- Pay Rate - £19,000 per annum
- Working Hours - 30 hours per week | 7.30am to 2pm (these hours may vary slightly depending on the school)

Essential Requirement for this role
- Commute time within an hour of Nottingham
- Previous Head Chef, Chef Manager, Cook, Sous, CDP experience (ideally B&I, Education or healthcare. Fresh food pubs/ restaurants will be considered)
