A bit about what you will be doing: The Operations Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the operational performance of The Evolv Collection’s restaurant and hotel portfolio. Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, the role ensures the successful delivery of the company’s operational strategy while maintaining exceptional standards of guest experience, team culture and financial performance.
You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple sites, supporting Operations Managers and general managers to drive performance, strengthen leadership capability and deliver outstanding hospitality. A key part of the role is championing The Evolv Collection’s Power of Service philosophy, ensuring it is embedded across every restaurant and consistently brought to life through the behaviours of our teams and the experiences delivered to our guests.
As a senior leader in the business, you will play a critical role in living and promoting the company’s values of Teamwork, Respect, Integrity and Passion, creating a culture where people feel supported, motivated and proud to deliver exceptional hospitality. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands‑on leadership.
You will regularly review operational performance across the estate, identify opportunities for improvement and implement initiatives that strengthen guest experience, team engagement and commercial results. You will also act as a mentor and trusted advisor to senior operational leaders, helping them navigate operational challenges while developing the next generation of leaders within the business.
As Operations Director you will also act as a custodian of each restaurant’s brand, heritage and guest experience, ensuring alignment with The Evolv Collection’s 2028 Vision and Strategic Priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership across the portfolio, ensuring operational performance aligns with the company’s commercial objectives, growth plans and long-term strategy.
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team of Operations Managers and General Managers building strong leadership capability and ensuring consistent standards across the estate.
- Drive commercial performance across the portfolio through robust financial oversight, detailed analysis of P&L performance and the implementation of initiatives that maximise profitability and operational efficiency.
- Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to shape and deliver the operational strategy of the business, contributing to key decisions that support the long‑term growth of The Evolv Collection.
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders across Sales, Finance, People and Marketing, ensuring strong alignment between operational delivery and wider business strategy.
- Build a close and collaborative partnership with the Back of House Operations Director, ensuring a unified operational approach across front and back of house while driving consistent standards of food, service and guest experience.
- Provide strategic guidance and challenge to restaurant leadership teams to ensure each site delivers strong financial performance, operational discipline and exceptional guest experiences.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational performance, enhance productivity and unlock new revenue streams across the portfolio.
- Lead the successful delivery of key business initiatives, ensuring new concepts, operational improvements and company programmes are effectively implemented across multiple sites.
- Maintain clear oversight of business performance across the estate, regularly reviewing results, identifying trends and implementing action plans to address risks or performance gaps.
- Ensure robust governance and compliance standards are maintained across the estate, including health & safety, employment practices and operational risk management.

You combine strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of guest experience, team development and operational excellence.
