Eventus Legal are seeking a permanent Conveyancing Solicitor to join the residential property team of a well‑established law firm in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. This full‑time, permanent Conveyancing Solicitor job offers the opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team environment, managing a varied caseload of residential property matters while benefiting from flexible and hybrid working arrangements. About the Role

As a Conveyancing Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to post‑completion, ensuring a high level of client care and technical excellence throughout the process. You will work closely with colleagues across the department and contribute to the continued growth and success of the team.

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion and registration
  • Handling matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property transactions
  • Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients throughout the transaction process
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties
  • Conducting title investigations and reviewing title documentation and search results
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds and associated legal documentation
  • Raising and responding to enquiries and progressing matters efficiently towards exchange and completion
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements including anti‑money laundering obligations
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with transactions and resolving issues as they arise
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing positively to the wider department where appropriate
  • Participating in business development and networking activities when required

About You

The successful candidate will be a confident and technically capable Conveyancing Solicitor who enjoys developing strong relationships with clients while delivering an excellent standard of service. Applications are welcomed from experienced residential property solicitors and licensed conveyancers. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property legislation
