Eventus Legal are seeking a Serious Injury Solicitor to join a highly regarded Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence team on a permanent, full‑time basis in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Serious Injury Solicitor to work on complex and high‑value catastrophic injury matters within a supportive and collaborative environment. Role Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of complex serious injury matters involving high‑value and life‑changing injuries
  • Providing expert legal advice with a highly client‑focused and empathetic approach
  • Conducting litigation, instructing counsel and experts, attending hearings and negotiating settlements
  • Managing client expectations and liaising with relevant third parties and medical professionals
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members to aid their professional development
  • Assisting with networking, marketing initiatives and wider business development activities
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider business to deliver a seamless client service
  • Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of developments within serious injury litigation

Person Specification

The successful Serious Injury Solicitor will have extensive experience handling complex serious injury matters and will be confident managing high‑value multi‑track litigation independently. In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Qualified Solicitor or equivalent
  • Significant experience within serious injury and catastrophic injury litigation
  • Strong technical knowledge of multi‑track personal injury matters
  • Excellent understanding of the Rehabilitation Code and Serious Injury Guide
  • Commercially minded with strong relationship management and business development skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
