Eventus Legal Recruitment is partnering with a Top Tier Legal 500 multi-office law firm in West London, which has recently acquired a boutique high net worth residential property arm to add to their current offering. We are looking for a Senior Residential Property Lawyer to act as number 2 in the office with the idea of taking over in its entirety upon retirement of the current situ. You will enjoy an attractive salary as well as a highly competitive benefits package which includes a bonus scheme, competitive annual leave plus bank holidays, 50/50 hybrid working, cashplan scheme and a season ticket loan. The position will be based out of their West London office.
Role Responsibilities
- Managing a small team of conveyancers and support staff.
- Managing own caseload of outstanding quality HNW and UHNW sales and purchase transactions.
- Monitoring and driving performance.
- Managing and growing lender panels.
- Maintaining a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
- Acting as the technical referral point for complex cases.
- Training staff to develop skills on a continual basis.
- Managing your own caseload with administrative support provided.
Person Specification
You must be a qualified Solicitor of circa 8 year PQE+ and have worked on HNW transactions at an excellent quality firm. Furthermore, applications from Senior Associates or Salaried Partners will be considered. In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:
- Deep understanding and experience of the residential property market.
- The ability to be discreet due to the client base.
- Be technically strong on all types of property cases to act as subject matter expert and technical referral point.
- Have worked with, or ideally managed, lender panels.
- Capable of new business development and marketing activities.
- Strong people skills to manage and motivate a small team.
- Strategic mindset to develop team growth.
- Clear communication skills to liaise effectively with staff of all levels and clients alike.
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
