About the Role
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will take responsibility for managing your own diverse caseload of commercial property matters including leasehold and freehold transactions while contributing to the ongoing development of the employer’s commercial property offering. This is a hands-on and influential position where you will combine technical legal work with leadership, client development, and strategic input across the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing a varied commercial property caseload including leasehold and freehold transactions
- Driving business development activity and growing your own client base and professional network
- Providing leadership and guidance to colleagues and supporting team development
- Delivering technical commercial property advice and supporting complex or unusual transactions
- Monitoring financial performance including WIP, billing forecasts, and workflow planning
- Building strong client relationships and promoting a consistently high level of client care
- Working closely with internal teams including finance and marketing to support business growth
- Improving processes and supporting continuous improvement across the department
- Communicating effectively across the business and contributing to a positive and cohesive team environment
About You
You will be a qualified solicitor with strong experience in commercial property matters and the ability to confidently manage your own caseload. This is a senior-level position that requires a commercially minded, proactive and collaborative approach with the confidence to contribute to both team leadership and business development activity.
