Eventus Legal – Family Law Solicitor

Eventus Legal are seeking a Family Law Solicitor to join a well‑regarded and close‑knit legal team based in Redcar, Teesside.

This is a permanent job available on a full‑time or part‑time basis. You will have early Friday finishes, supportive leadership, excellent long‑term progression opportunities, hybrid and remote working on a flexible basis, and a salary starting at approximately £33,000 for a newly qualified solicitor, with no upper limit for more senior applicants.

Role Responsibilities

• Managing a mixed caseload of public and private family law matters from start to finish.
• Preparing legal documentation, representing clients in court, and providing advice and support on a variety of family law issues.
• Working independently with minimal supervision, especially during court attendance of senior partners.
• Contributing to team leadership and operations support, particularly in preparation for a senior partner’s planned retirement.
• Supporting and collaborating with a small, friendly and long‑established team.

Person Specification

• Qualified solicitor or highly experienced legal executive with substantial family law experience.
• Applications welcome from newly qualified solicitors up to senior level.
• Personable, friendly, capable of working autonomously and as part of a tight‑knit team.
• Strong communicator, confident in handling client matters and providing court representation.
• Experience in either private or public family law, with willingness to be trained in the other if needed.
• Great personality fit – a team player essential.
