Job Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload of Childcare matters with minimal supervision.
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients throughout proceedings.
- Represent parents, children, guardians, and local authorities in proceedings involving care orders, supervision orders, emergency protection orders, and adoption matters.
- Prepare legal documents, court applications, witness statements, and evidence bundles, ensuring compliance with court rules and procedural deadlines.
- Conduct your own advocacy at hearings, case management conferences and trials.
- Work closely with social workers, guardians, experts and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes while safeguarding the welfare of children.
- Maintain accurate case records, manage client relationships with empathy and professionalism, and ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and confidentiality requirements.

Person Specification:

- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) with experience in childcare.
