Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor for a permanent, full-time job with a growing, employee-owned law firm at their Manchester office. This Employment Solicitor job offers hybrid working, with two to three days in the office and two to three days from home following probation, alongside a strong employee benefits package including a profit share scheme.
About the Job
- Managing a caseload focused mainly on claimant litigation and executive exits, working closely alongside a Partner on complex and high-value matters
- Collaborating with the firm's Company and Commercial team on cross-departmental work
- Providing clear, authoritative advice to clients, building strong working relationships
- Presenting and arguing cases confidently, both orally and in writing
- Managing your own workload effectively to meet client expectations and matter deadlines
About You
This Employment Solicitor job would suit a solicitor with around 5 years' PQE or more, with strong knowledge of the employment tribunal process. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- A current Practising Certificate
- A professional, client focused approach with the credibility to advise senior stakeholders
- The ability to explain complex legal detail clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement under pressure
- The ability to work well independently, as well as collaboratively across teams
Some experience of Respondent litigation, or advising employers on non-contentious matters, would be an advantage.
