Eventus Legal are seeking a Conveyancer (Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or seasoned Fee Earner) to join a well-established and expanding Residential Property team based in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. This is a full-time, permanent and office-based residential conveyancing job position, offering a competitive salary in line with previous experience, with a guideline salary up to £45,000 DOE.

The successful Conveyancer will manage a varied caseload from instruction through to completion and benefit from flexible working arrangements, free parking, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, a bonus scheme, pension, local transport links and ongoing training and development.

Role Responsibilities

As a Conveyancer in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire you will take ownership of your own residential conveyancing caseload, managing matters from initial instruction through to completion, including post-completion work. You will be supported by the wider conveyancing team when required, including on more complex transactions.

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales and purchases, leasehold and freehold matters, right to buy, shared ownership, remortgages and transfers of equity
  • Drafting and preparing relevant conveyancing documentation and SDLT forms
  • Providing clear and accurate advice to clients throughout each transaction
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Liaising with estate agents, solicitors, lenders and other third parties to progress transactions efficiently

Person Specification

Applications are welcomed from experienced Residential Conveyancers near Eastwood, Nottinghamshire and the wider Nottinghamshire region who can demonstrate strong technical knowledge and the ability to independently manage a varied caseload from instruction through to completion.

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, or an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner with substantial practical conveyancing experience
  • Proven experience managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including both leasehold and freehold files
  • Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process and current regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to advise clients and manage relationships with third parties
