Eventus Legal are seeking an ambitious Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a well-regarded multi-service law firm based in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This is a full-time, permanent job position offering a competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience. This opportunity may also suit a Solicitor or Legal Executive with strong litigation experience in another area of law who is looking to retrain and develop within commercial litigation.

The Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive will join a supportive team, work closely with a senior solicitor and handle a varied caseload of high-quality commercial dispute resolution matters.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters from instruction through to completion
- Advise clients on contentious matters including breach of contract claims, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, debt recovery, property litigation and construction disputes
- Maintain accurate file management and billing records while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements
- Support business development activity and help to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, commercially focused advice
Person Specification
- Applications are welcomed from Commercial Litigation Solicitors or Legal Executives with experience of contentious work
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive, ideally NQ to 5 years' PQE
- Previous experience managing or assisting with a caseload of commercial litigation or dispute resolution matters, or strong transferable litigation experience from another area of law
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent IT skills and experience using case management systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience of building and maintaining strong client relationships
