Personal Injury Solicitor in Liverpool

Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Personal Injury Solicitor to join a well-established, multi-service law firm in Liverpool. This is a permanent, full-time job offering a salary of £40,000 to £55,000 depending on experience, with the option of hybrid working, one day per week from home. This is an excellent opportunity for a Personal Injury Solicitor to join a supportive team handling a genuinely mixed caseload, including road traffic accident, employer's and public liability, clinical negligence and CICA matters.

About the Job

As the incoming Personal Injury Solicitor based in the Liverpool office, you will manage your own caseload from instruction through to conclusion, working towards individual and departmental targets while delivering a high standard of client care. This job offers the chance to gain broad experience across PI, clinical negligence and CICA work within one close-knit team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a mixed caseload covering RTA, EL, PL, clinical negligence and CICA matters
• Arranging and attending client meetings, providing clear and professional guidance
• Negotiating with clients and other professionals to maximise damages and secure agreed objectives
• Attending court hearings and other off-site appointments as required
• Drafting legal documents and court applications to a high standard
• Supervising and supporting trainee solicitors and paralegals
• Contributing to business development and networking activities
• Maintaining accurate and up to date case files in line with regulatory requirements

About You

You will be a qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate and a background in personal injury work. This position will suit someone who is commercially minded, organised and comfortable managing a varied caseload independently, while knowing when to draw on the support of colleagues.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience managing a personal injury caseload appropriate to your level
• Strong legal drafting, analytical and negotiation skills
• Confident and professional approach to client and third-party communication
• Experience of advocacy, supervision or mentoring (desirable)
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines
• Competent IT skills, including use of case management systems
