Eventus Legal is seeking a Junior Qualified Commercial Property Lawyer to join the specialist Commercial Property team of a highly regarded law firm in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward‑thinking and collaborative department, working on a varied portfolio of commercial property matters for a diverse client base including privately owned businesses, charities, landed estates and trusts.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, secured lending and associated property documentation. This role is ideal for a solicitor with around 0‑3 years PQE who is looking to develop their expertise within a supportive environment, with access to high‑quality work, ongoing supervision and opportunities for career progression. Role Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals
- Advising clients on landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations and related issues
- Handling secured lending work, including mortgages and charges
- Preparing and negotiating ancillary property documentation, including easements, options and pre‑emption agreements
- Supporting clients with inter‑family and company gifts, working alongside the firm’s nationally recognised private client team
- Providing clear, practical legal advice while maintaining excellent client service standards
- Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues across specialist departments
- Managing files efficiently and ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory requirements
