Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Trainee Paraplanner to join an independent financial planning firm in Knutsford, Cheshire. This is a full-time, permanent job paying £33,000 to £36,000 depending on experience, with funded CII study towards Chartered, flexible start and finish times, up to two days a week from home and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Working alongside the paraplanners and advisers, the incoming Trainee Paraplanner services existing clients, handles platform work and illustrations, and learns to build suitability letters and reports through the firm's own paraplanning training programme. Key responsibilities include:

- Producing suitability letters and reports in line with the paraplanning training programme
- Carrying out basic plan and fund research to support the paraplanning team

- At least two years' experience working for a financial planning firm
- Working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
- Good working knowledge of protection, pensions and investment products
- Confident written and verbal communication with clients and providers

About the Firm
The employer is an independent, whole-of-market financial planning firm that has been advising clients across Cheshire and the North West for many years, and it remains owned by the people who founded it rather than a network or a consolidator. It has a genuine record of developing people, having run a Level 3 apprenticeship and taken one of its current advisers all the way from apprentice through paraplanning to qualified, funding the exams throughout. Advice runs on a team model rather than a single named adviser, so someone learning the job learns from the whole advice team rather than one person's way of doing things. The team is collaborative and supportive, and the firm has an excellent reputation locally. We are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role. As an equal opportunities employer we welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
