Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join a well-established law firm in New Mills, Derbyshire. This is a full-time, permanent job position offering a salary of £28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience. The firm is open to an experienced non-qualified Private Client professional who can already assist meaningfully with a busy caseload and is ready to progress towards managing their own files with appropriate supervision.

Role Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Managing Partner, the Private Client Paralegal will provide hands-on support across a varied Private Client caseload while developing towards greater responsibility for their own matters.
- Assist heavily with the progression of Private Client matters and support the Managing Partner with a busy caseload.
- Handle client onboarding, matter compliance and liaison with clients and relevant third parties.
- Take instructions and assist with matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Estate Administration.
- Support the preparation of Private Client documents and correspondence, including estate administration documentation where appropriate to experience.
- Assist with more complex Probate matters where required, including matters involving trusts or overseas assets.
- Take increasing ownership of files as experience and confidence develop, working towards managing an individual caseload with an appropriate level of supervision.
Person Specification

- Previous Private Client experience is essential, either through heavily assisting a fee earner with a substantial caseload or through managing your own files.
