Eventus Legal are seeking a Legal Finance Administrator to join a law firm in Hoylake, Wirral.
Offering a salary of £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience, this permanent job provides structured on-the-job training and mentoring from the Head of Finance, 25 days' holiday and hybrid working after the initial training period, with three days in the office each week.
Part time candidates will also be considered.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone keen to build a career in legal finance while gaining practical experience across legal cashiering, reconciliations and accounts administration.
Role Responsibilities The Legal Finance Administrator will support the day-to-day running of the firm's client and office accounts, working closely with the Head of Finance in a regulated legal environment.
Key responsibilities will include: Posting client account receipts and payments accurately and promptly in accordance with the SRA Accounts Rules.
Processing outgoing client account payments, including telegraphic transfers, CHAPS and BACS, in line with the firm's authorisation procedures.
Assisting with client-to-office transfers and ensuring the correct authorisation is obtained before posting.
Monitoring client account balances and flagging residual balances or unallocated funds to the Head of Finance.
Supporting regular bank reconciliations for client and office accounts.
