Eventus Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a busy and rapidly growing Residential Conveyancing team in Farnham, Surrey.

This opportunity is open to qualified Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives and Licensed Conveyancers who have strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions and experience managing their own caseload.

Role Responsibilities

The Residential Conveyancer in Farnham, Surrey will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from initial instruction through to completion and file closure.

Responsibilities will include

  • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Advising on remortgages and transfers of equity
  • Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion and post completion
  • Reviewing titles, searches and supporting documentation
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts and transfer documents
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Reporting clearly to clients throughout the transaction
  • Liaising with estate agents, lenders, solicitors and other relevant third parties
  • Ensuring all matters comply with regulatory, lender and internal requirements
  • Managing deadlines and progressing transactions efficiently
  • Providing support and technical guidance to other members of the Residential Conveyancing team
