About the Job
As an Employment Lawyer, you will work closely with experienced partners and a well‑established team to provide clear, commercially focused legal advice to a wide range of employer clients.
Responsibilities
- Providing advice on contracts, staff handbooks and policies
- Handling absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes
- Managing redundancy and restructuring matters
- TUPE transfers and employment aspects of business acquisitions
- Tribunal case preparation and advocacy
- Advising on collective issues including trade unions and negotiations
- Providing day‑to‑day HR and strategic advice to clients
About You
This role is suited to a confident and personable employment solicitor with strong technical skills and a collaborative mindset. You’ll enjoy working closely with clients and colleagues and be looking to build your career in a supportive, forward‑thinking firm.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years’ PQE in employment law
- Experience managing a mix of contentious and advisory employment matters
- Clear, confident communication style, both written and verbal
- A proactive approach to client care and problem solving
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload and work independently or as part of a team
- Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in employment law developments
