Senior Conveyancer in Dorking

Eventus Legal is seeking a Senior Conveyancer with 8 or more years PQE to join an established law firm in Dorking, Surrey. Candidates can be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX Lawyer. This is a full time, permanent job position offering a salary of £55,000 to £70,000 depending on experience, hybrid working with one day from home each week, and a performance related bonus paying up to 25%. The successful Senior Conveyancer will take on a predominantly residential property workload while also handling commercial property matters, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced property lawyer looking for a broad senior position.

Role Responsibilities

The Senior Conveyancer will handle a predominantly residential property caseload alongside commercial property matters within an experienced property team in Dorking, Surrey. Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
• Handling commercial property matters alongside the residential caseload
• Providing clear, practical, and commercially aware advice to clients throughout property transactions
• Maintaining high standards of client care, communication, and file management
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the property team and wider law firm
• Managing matters efficiently while maintaining appropriate professional and regulatory standards

Person Specification

Applications are invited from highly experienced property lawyers within commutable range of Dorking, Surrey who are confident handling both residential conveyancing and commercial property work. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX Lawyer
• Ideally 8+ years PQE
• Substantial experience of managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
• Commercial property experience is essential
• The ability to manage a mixed property workload, with the majority of matters being residential
• Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing practice
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• The confidence and experience to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
