Eventus Legal are seeking a Family & Matrimonial Solicitor to join a successful law firm based in Doncaster. This is a permanent, full‑time role. Benefits include a bonus scheme, long service awards and a rising holiday allowance.
Role Responsibilities
The incoming Family Solicitor will be responsible for dealing with an existing caseload of divorce, financial provision, private children, injunction, and particularly public children law.
There will be an expectation to attend court to provide advocacy, and a possibility of attending networking events and promoting the business.
Person Specification
The incoming Family Solicitor will have experience in dealing with all types of family law matters although all levels of experience will be considered. Importantly, the candidate will also be able to display:
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise your workload within the required timescales.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent PC/keyboard skills
- Knowledge and experience of Legal Aid Schemes and Procedures
- Membership of the Children’s Panel would be advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast paced department
