Eventus Legal are seeking an ambitious Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established and expanding Residential Property team based in Derby, Derbyshire. This is a full-time, permanent position providing high quality and low volume work, a supportive and truly collaborative team environment with the opportunity to build long standing relationships with clients and in turn, developing your reputation in the legal market across the region. Role Responsibilities
- Managing your own portfolio of residential conveyancing transactions including sale and purchase, leasehold and freehold, right to buy, shared ownership, remortgage and transfer of equity.
- Supporting and assisting junior team members as and when necessary.
- Drafting all relevant documentation and SDLT forms.
- Providing clear and accurate advice to clients.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Liaising with estate agents, solicitors, lenders, and other third parties.
Person Specification
- Applications are sought from experienced Residential Conveyancers in Derby, Derbyshire.
- You will possess previous hands on residential conveyancing experience and have managed or heavily assisted on a full caseload.
- You will have dealt with a variety of residential conveyancing transactions.
- Residential Conveyancer – Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or seasoned non qualified fee earner.
- Prior experience managing or assisting on a varied caseload including both leasehold and freehold files.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and current regulations.
- Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
