Eventus Legal are seeking a confident and passionate Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3 years PQE+, to join a highly reputable and very well established Private Client team based in central Derby, Derbyshire. This is a full-time, permanent position with a leading regional law firm in the City centre of Derby. Benefits include hybrid working, generous annual leave, pension contributions, local transport links around the City centre and clear structured career development plans, offering a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Private Client files including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Trusts, Estate Administration and Tax.
- Supervising and mentoring junior private client team members as and when necessary.
- Adhering to strict SRA compliance and confidentiality regulations.
- Providing clear and accurate advice to clients at all times.
- Support with the on-going business development of the private client department overall.
Person Specification
- Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
- Prior experience managing an autonomous Private Client caseload.
- Experience managing and supervising fee earners, or the readiness to step into a supervisory role.
- Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Full clean driving license.
