Eventus Legal is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer or Residential Property Solicitor to join a dynamic and growing law firm with an excellent reputation. This is a permanent, full-time, office-based job based at the firm's Wibsey office in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential property professional to manage their own caseload with the support of an established administrative team, whilst benefiting from genuine long-term career progression into a potential management position.

The role is offered on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, although some flexibility around starts and finish times will be considered. Salary £40,000 to £50,000, together with 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, Christmas office closure, company pension, free parking, professional development opportunities and private healthcare scheme.

Job Responsibilities
  • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing files from inception through to post-completion
  • Handling predominantly private treaty residential sales and purchases
  • Providing an exceptional level of client care throughout the conveyancing process
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other third parties' stakeholders
  • Working closely with legal secretaries and administrative support staff
  • Managing files independently whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance
  • Assisting with capacity planning and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to the continued success of the Bradford office
  • Potentially developing into a supervisory or managerial role as part of the firm's succession planning
Person Specification
  • Applications are welcomed from experienced Residential Conveyancers, Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or qualified by experience Fee Earners with strong residential conveyancing experience
  • Minimum of 2–3 years' experience as an independent residential conveyancing fee earner
  • Ability to confidently manage a full caseload with minimal supervision
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • A proactive and responsible approach to workload management
  • Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous but is not essential
  • An interest in developing into a future leadership or management role would be highly desirable
