Eventus Legal are seeking a Family Paralegal to join a well established Family and Matrimonial team in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire. This is a full-time, permanent job position offering a competitive salary of up to Β£30,000, hybrid working, 25 days' holiday, pension, local parking and excellent training and development. You will gain exposure to good quality private and publicly funded family work, attend court and work closely with an experienced Head of Department, with the opportunity to develop towards managing your own files.

Role Responsibilities

As a Family Paralegal in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas, you will support an experienced family law team with a varied caseload of private and publicly funded family matters. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Head of Department and wider family team with the progression of private and publicly funded family cases including divorce, separation agreements, pre and post-nuptial agreements, matrimonial finance, domestic abuse and violence and children and care matters
  • Preparing files and supporting the team in readiness for hearings and other key stages of each matter
  • Attending court as required and providing practical support during proceedings
  • Taking increasing responsibility for matters as your experience and confidence develop
  • Managing your own files where appropriate, with ongoing supervision and support
  • Maintaining accurate and well organised case files while working to relevant deadlines
