Job Title: Summer Staff – Paid Work Placement
Location: Milton Keynes, Bletchley
Contract Type: Fixed‑Term (Minimum 8 weeks)
Placement Period: Late May – Early October (flexible within this window)
We provide staging and structures for events across the UK, along with technical production services and trade hire of staging, rigging, lighting, sound, video, and power equipment. The team supports a wide range of festivals, live events, and productions throughout the busy summer season.
About the Summer Placement Scheme
This paid summer placement offers hands‑on experience working both onsite at live events and within our warehouse. It is designed to give participants a practical introduction to the technical side of the events industry, working alongside experienced event technicians and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
Building staging and structures on festival and event sites across the UK
Supporting warehouse operations, including preparing, loading, unloading, and returning equipment
Working as part of onsite build teams ranging from 2 to 16+ people
Following all training, instructions, and safety guidance
Participating in manual, physical work, often outdoors and in varied weather conditions
Travelling to event sites in crew vehicles, with some overnight stays required

Placement Dates

Who You’ll Work With
You will always work alongside at least one full‑time team member. Onsite build teams vary in size, and usually hosts between two and six placement students each season.

Are You Ready?
Based in or near Milton Keynes, or able to commute reliably
Comfortable with physical, hands‑on work and outdoor conditions
Willing to travel to event sites, including occasional overnight stays
Able to follow instructions, training, and safety procedures
Over 18 and eligible to work in the UK
