We are looking for an enthusiastic, articulate and dedicated temporary Marketing Assistant to support our Annual Event for 3–4 months, up until the event’s end date 8 November 2026. Excellent customer relations skills and a hard work ethic are essential to balance a varied and dynamic workload. The ideal candidate should have good communication, telephone manner and organisational skills and the ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment.

The position would start in July (includes working in the office and onsite at the shows first week of November, 2‑8). Working within the Marketing team, the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking and looking to help grow our visitor base. This role would be ideal for a recent graduate who is looking for their first role in event marketing.

The Marketing team consists of the Marketing Communications Manager and the Senior Marketing Executive, who report to a Brand Director and Fair Director, working collaboratively with Sales and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Marketing Communications Manager and Senior Marketing Executive in building relationships with and providing customer service to exhibiting brands.
  • Managing Exhibitor Liaison to improve exhibitor communications for increased exhibitor tickets.
  • Assisting with the distribution of all promotional materials.
  • Updating event websites with relevant exhibitor information (FAQs and Exhibitor Zones).
  • Onsite delivery of the exhibitor communications and visitor experience, which could include feature management.
  • Creating basic design briefs for exhibitor communications.
